Silly me forgot to put in the scale of the buttons that are now for bid on eBay. And it’s only a few hours until they get snapped up… or maybe not! ;D

I’m slowly putting up these handmade buttons that I’ve commissioned from Ms Sakiko of Japan up for bids in eBay. I really think that it will be a fair move, as I know there are quite a few people that are interested in them (I find it hard to part with them too!)
They’re excellent collectibles for your collection, and I just admire her handiwork so much. It’s full of tiny details and it’s just so beautiful (even more so when you factor in the size!).
You have about 10 days to bid for them, and the links are as below:
So, happy bidding, and feel free to email me at info@remakeables.com if you have any questions! :D
Finally!
Thanks for being patient—things have been super hectic around here, but I didn’t think I could wait much longer, so I finally sat still and finished up what I was supposed to do last weekend.
And here’s to new handmade pouches that I adore.
Have fun!

I feel guilty enough that I didn’t update the blog for a couple of days (with a meaningful post, that is), but I guess it will be a few more days until I sort out a couple more stuff.
T-boy’s parents were in town this weekend, so I was running around until Sunday night—managing to squeeze in some time for the long overdue shop update while I get some more behind-the-scenes work done. There’s some changes and some surprises, so I hope you’ll enjoy the ride along with me! :)
But to share, I dug out a huge stack of my old children’s books (that was given to me by my relatives) dating back to 1972. Needless to say, I love the illustration work of Kwan Shan Mei. I’ll add in more images of the rest of the books later in the week, but first off, here’s a book called Aminata, The Wind Loves You — a African folklore about Aminata and her love story with the Wind.

...because I’m experiencing some technical glitches, hence the missing shop updates.
I’ll let everyone on the newsletter list know when it hits, and of course, post on this blog as well.
Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the wait—it won’t take long, I promise!

You’ll notice that I did not post anything up on Saturday or Sunday (which is the time where I usually post new pictures and write about my ramblings). The reason for this little breather is because my modem is fried, so I haven’t been able to get online for the past 3 days at home. I’ll try to get a connection going again, but it might take a few days, and I’ll be replying everyone soon, hopefully!
On another note, I will be away in Bali from 29th August to 1st September, so any orders coming in during those few days will only be sent on Monday, 3rd September.
Have a lovely Monday!

... a selection of fabrics from my shop carries a pink theme, until I put an order together.
... if you eat McDonalds and stay up late for a few days in a row, you get horrible bloating for days on end. Ugg.
And that was my light bulb moment of the week. Hopefully it won’t be the last too.

Pop on over to the shop to have a look at new goodies! :)
