Every year, Mr. T will make me a special card for my birthday. It doesn’t necessarily mean a folded card with a message on it, but most of the time it’s partly a little surprise and one that usually involves a message.

And most of the time he makes it in secret, but due to his busy schedule this year, he could only make the card at night when I was home too. So instead of shoo-ing me away, this time, we documented his process with a camera for posterity.

It’s like a 3-D shadowbox that featured us both and my two dogs — every shake of the glass bottle would place us in a different position within the casing, which I found very sweet.

And there was a note curled up in the center that made the whole thing sweeter too. :)

On another note, I was on the Etsy showcase for December 12th’s main page, and I couldn’t believe how thrilled I was — and I almost never check in on Etsy everyday, and I could have easily missed it too.
