I have a ton of links to put up, but certain things have come up that has delayed it somewhat. Mr. T (aka T-Boy) and I went house-hunting for a couple of weeks ago and we were thinking about getting one that we liked, but after 3 weeks of contemplation and almost going by the show unit every weekend, we didn’t.
It seems like a big step to me — I was terrified that I would have to make a decision right away (those who can make a decision to buy a house after just viewing may be one of the most confident people ever!)
So it’s back to square one again. We’ll continue to look at houses and scout around for more information while I whip out my project for next year.
And why the need to buy a house?
Because we need a space to call our own. Because mosaic dust and my sewing machine does not mix. Because I need a bigger space for what I will be doing.
And because, we will make it official next year.
It took Chris and I some time to find a home. I think our Realtor was getting a bit anxious with us, but we weren’t going to be rushed. Finally, we found it and I am so glad we kept looking. You will find it and be so happy you did. It feels so great to own your home. Good luck :)
I agree with flora. All it takes is the right house and the feeling you get when you walk into the house for the first time.
I am also in the process of buying a house and we fell in love with the first house we saw and we are thinking of just getting it. We are just waiting for it to be finished with the building stage.
