Well, it’s been a few days since T-boy’s return from Chaumont Sur Loire from France, and it’s been a blur of activities. I got my Marie Claire Idees (2 copies too!), plus some yummy booze-filled chocolates and the ubiquitous key chain as an obligatory souvenir.

Apparently they work him to the bone over there, what with the hauling of concrete and big tree trunks for their Festival de Jardins. What’s interesting about this garden show is that every year, the exhibitor’s display gets torn down, and the following year’s contestants are able to use whatever materials they can recycle.

I can’t believe it’s going to be my turn to fly off somewhere in a few days too. It’s been a whirlwind, and the days seemed to pass by too fast for me to register what will happen when I do get to my destination. It’s going to be extremely bittersweet, but I am so looking forward to this extended holiday, which is almost unheard of for an editor working for a magazine!
