A postcard from France

T-boy has been in France for about a month now, and will soon be back. And all this while we’ve communicated via SMS and short talks over the phone (it’s expensive to talk!). It’s amazing that he has been to the places I want to go, and yet he doesn’t seem too far away.

I got this postcard in the mail a few days back and I think it’s a sweet gesture, and it certainly perked up my night after a long day at work. Time does fly by, and I know I haven’t been posting regularly, only because I am working hard on my side project. It keeps me busy till the wee hours of the morning, and then it’s off again to work.

For those who have followed along with my adventure, here’s the outcome: I am staying with this company for a little while longer, until my small project takes off. I won’t go into much details, but I think this is the right decision at this point of time.

The good thing that came out of this was that my employer now knows where I stand, and I did the right thing at the right time – and I’ve negotiated a better deal for myself to tide me over these next few months. I’ve given myself a tight deadline, and things will be a little rough, but because I now have a plan, everything will be alright.

as long as you’re happy in what you’re doing – staying, leaving, freelancing, bumming – that’s the way to go!

and I’m sure everything will be all right for you too… :)
