This skirt by Kcoline is pretty cute. I love scallop patterns and this is utterly adorable. I’m not a fan of bits fraying, but I think it might work on this piece enough to add a certain charm to it.
As well, I’m thinking long and hard about certain decisions about a big chunk of my life, and am not sure when I should drop the bomb. Any longer and my life will bear the same title as this post – best to get it over with anyway.
Perhaps this week?

Apr 4, 12:21 AMwell my my missy, you know how to get us intrigued don’t you! if you feel the urge to diffuse a little of this bomb in an email feel free. I hope it’s something you’ll fel good about once the dust settles.
i love scallops too, and i do actually like frayed edges but avoid them as I always think it means hand washing. Ugh, I hate handwashing. Actually, that’s not exactly true, I like it on a sunny day when I have free time and I can take it out to do in the garden. But that rarely coincides with the need to wash things.
So, how to solve my problem? Well, for a wedding I had frayed edge linen trousers, which were on the verge of fraying too much, so I put a little PVA glue (or any clear wood glue) on the back of the frayed-but-still-attached part and they maintained the perfect fray for several washes (only wear them for weddings etc. so that means they have lasted several years before I had to add more glue).
