Part of going to thrift malls is the fun of buying good, cheap yarn which almost a rarity here in Malaysia. I picked this up at a craft store that was clearing part of its yarn stock.

It’s a purple and loopy kid mohair, from Ashford yarns, and I love the texture. Now the only thing I know about mohair is that it’s hard to be worn as a scarf because it itches (it does on me!), so I’m looking out for a small project I can make with these babies. If anyone has any suggestions, please drop me a note!

On another note, my wireless router and modem was fried during a thunderstorm a few days ago, and I won’t be able to go online during the weekends. So expect erratic email replies! T-boy will be off to lovely France in April for a month, so I’m jealous.
