I’ve mentioned in this post that I was asking (in my head mostly) for those who would like to organise a swap with me for a copy of their Crafter’s Companion.

Well, thanks to Anna, I finally got my wish. As the editor of Crafter’s Companion, she was so kind to offer a swap for the book. What I offered could never compare to the generosity she showed me by offering to trade with me.

And I love it. The book is generous with inspiration, and I have nothing but praise for Anna. Instead of just the usual pattern books, I got a peek into the minds of some very well-known crafters out there; what makes them tick, how their workroom looks like, and where they get their inspiration from.

Along with my other “new” craft books carefully stowed by my bedside table for that dose of inspiration at night (there’s a storage of vintage ones too that I’ve yet to post up), I sense an addiction growing.

And I am strangely excited at the thought of these wonderful books piling up right next to me when I curl up at night.
